I was encouraged to draw and paint when I was very young, little did I know then that it would develop into a life long passion!

I paint mainly in watercolours and oils, mostly on site using a fairly restrained, subtle palette, where the essence of a subject can be seen and experienced, and painted successfully (hopefully). Sometimes I work in my studio when the subject requires more consideration or the weather’s not suitable.
