Sketching, Drawing & Watercolour for Complete Beginners and Improvers
Weekly class, Thursday afternoons 2.00 - 4.00pm Temperance Hall, Christchurch Road, Tring HP23 4EE
If you’d like to learn to, or improve your drawing, sketching or watercolour, join our small and friendly group. Week by week we’ll learn and practice different ways of working, with subjects ranging from still life to landscapes, using pencils, pens and watercolour. Over the weeks you’ll learn about different materials, composition, perspective and colour theory, to name a few, and bit by bit increase your knowledge and skills.
Term dates:  Thursday 7 September - Thursday 14 December 2023 (Half Term break 2 November).

Watercolour for Beginners and Improvers
Weekly class, Thursday evenings 7.00 - 9.00pm Temperance Hall, Christchurch Road, Tring HP23 4EE
If you’d like to learn how to use this exciting and flexible medium, or take your watercolour painting to the next level join our small and friendly group. Week by week we’ll learn and practice the various techniques and ways that watercolour can be used. We’ll explore the various properties of different pigments and papers, and how they effect the finished painting. There’ll be sessions on composition, wet in wet, wet on dry and dry brush, to name a few.
Term dates:  Thursday 7 September - Thursday 14 December 2023 (Half Term break 2 November).
